For more than one reason, we do not like antibiotics. One is your and our health! Our farmers do not use antibiotics routinely as in in large scale dairy operations. However, we allow them to use antibiotics if a cow really needs it. If so, they can not deliver the milk for 5 days. Another reason is the fact that for cheesemaking antibiotics have a negative effect on the cheese making process... therefore, we do not want to have them in the milk either! We randomly test our milk every day for antibiotics with a very expensive test supplied to use for free by DSM. This test can detect very small quantities of antibiotics. We can guarantee: our milk, and therefore cheese, are free from antibiotics!
